Clare Hatt is a Dungeon
Community Rating
Description
For Clare Hatt, death has been an unusual experience. While the souls around her flowed comfortably to the afterlife, she was yanked off the path by some kind of cosmic mad scientist. Suddenly equipped with an affectionate soul symbiote, she is yeeted into the mysterious 'rift' with little chance of survival.
Surprisingly, she does survive.
Reborn as a proper LitRPG dungeon core, she embarks upon the genre with wit, hard work, and a powerful 'mythic connection.'

This story has very short chapters, updated whenever I feel like it. Mostly slice of life, with heavy emphasis on character development and worldbuilding.
Feel free to message me with feedback. It's my first time writing LitRPG, so I appreciate any system-related advice.

- D.M. Rhodes (Razzmatazz)Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Clare Hatt is a Dungeon, written by author SnuggleCat, is a litRPG dungeon-core fantasy novel about Clare Hatt, who… is a dungeon. Attached to a secondary tag-along on her soul, Clare is reborn in a fantasy world as a dungeon, fighting against the odds to survive together with the affectionate entity. The story’s flavor is extremely slice of life heavy, with strong dashes of worldbuilding and a large focus on the character development of Clare, as well as many other characters who we meet along the way, such as the Keeper, adventurers, and even some monsters like a bubbly little slime. There are a lot of varying perspectives.
One thing you will find is that this story uses bite-sized chapters, which I can’t say I’ve encountered before in such a format, but it works out nicely and is very digestible as a read because of it.
The spelling and grammar are both very qualitative, and I found no noticeable mistakes. The prose and flow both move along strongly, and everything goes as you would want it to.
All in all, if you are interested in a slow-and-steady dungeon-core novel with lots of sociality, then do give this one a fair shot! =) - PotassiumRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0We're still in the beggining of the plot, but so far this has been a perfectly enjoyable dungeon story, with enough focus on the dungeon buildings so that we can get a feel on it but without overwhelming us with an endless blue table. The works building appears interesting and I will continue to read this story to se how the dungeon will develop.
- TheWatcherOfRealityRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story has a good pace and updates very frequently while there are grammar mistakes they do get corrected and this story is an interesting read for people looking for a new direction in the dungeon core genre so the story is a solid 5 stars in my eyes as the author is willing to grow and correct mistakes
