City of Wraiths

Set within the City of Arkhen, to die within the city walls is to be denied the afterlife and forced to become a wraith. Barred forever from the afterlife, these powerful entities have only one path: Creating a pact with the city's citizens. In doing so, the Wraith gains the ability to be part of the natural world again, while the living being gains power from their pact. This can be as little as enhanced strength or something grander in scope.

The story follows Marius Reza and Lukas Sulli, two individuals forced into each other's lives through their enemies' actions beyond their understanding. Reza is a soldier in one of the Legions of Arkhen who gains the opportunity to rise above his station within the city. Meanwhile, Lukas, a young noble, is forced into a position he never expected: becoming the heir to his Uncle.
