It's a fun japanese light novel style romp with some interesting ideas and none of the most egregious aspects of those stories, at least so far. The protagonist has a tough enough time of things that there's some dramatic tension but it's still comedic and light hearted. Highly reccomended. Personal preference is toward a darker tone and there's some things that suggest that this story is going to be more serious down the line, but even if it stays like this, it's well written enough that it's one of the stories where I read every chapter as soon as they drop - koenjiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is my first review here on RRL so I'll just go over each of the categories for the review, it's also going to be fairly long.
Style: Mia is prone to lots of internal monologues, it does not really bother me and i can see why she does since she's a bit of a black sheep. It's also liable to change as the story progresses as new characters are added to speak with and as she grows older and is taken more seriously. All in all it doesn't really detract from the story for me.
Story: speaking of story i find it very entertaining, there are lots of seeds planted for future plot that I'm anticipating and fun ideas, one of which is the evolution of Mia's pet slime and their growth together. As of the time of this review chapter 25 there is plenty of future potential to hook you in for the ride.
Grammar: there isn't much to say about grammar i haven't really been looking for errors but the story is very grammatically clean, the only glaring error i found was promptly fixed.
Character score: and finally character score, the character we see the most of is Mia. It is interesting to see how she copes with the fact she was killed and reincarnated, also interesting is her view of the people in her new world so far i don't really know if she sees them as more than characters in a game. This may change of course with character development but she seems very distant and calculating.
I am looking forward to see if her slime gains a higher degree of intelligence in the future and what their friendship would be like. - EserngoRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Normally i dont read stories with such a fresh start but i gave yours a go ahead and i can say it holds potential. the internal conflicts are displayed well and the extarnal as well. a small worry i have is your use of telling vs showing. other than that though you got a favourite from me.
- FelightRoyal Road★★★ 3.0It really feels this story is two thirds of unneeded explanations going over the same things time after time and breaking the flow. You could easily just skim over just for the dialogue and you would lose nothing in information value.
