- PotOfJamRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you're a fan of litRPG and fantasy stories, you're in for a treat with this webnovel !
The MC makes me think of duncan of the valley with his loneresc personality. The magic system is well though and not over complicated. The LITRPG System is quite generic but very well used and works well with the story (not too much prompt but enough to be an appealing litrpg).
I thrilled to read the coming chapter !
I cannot really judge the grammar and the style cause i'm not a native speaker.
Fair warning : it's an OP mc story :-)
Enjoy your read !
P.S : I checked the patreon and the author has quite the stockpile of chapter so there is almost no risk of this novel going hiatus on us :-) - NathanLee1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Plenty of people churn out stories of adventure and conquest and magical achievements. I'm not bashing those - I do love a good magical adventure story.
But as a low-key fantasy (and ttrpg-) nerd, I love how much depth this story's world has. Nodes and constructs and trap mechanics... the author makes it all very engaging, with enough plotline to keep it relevant and move a story along. Diving into in-world takes on the intricacies of mana and Arcane Engineering is just what I didn't know I was looking for when I started this story.
Top marks!! :D - XpdidyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am really loving the longer chapters in book 3. It has some build up that can seem repetitive but stick with it and it is really getting very interesting.
I am very excited about the upcoming transition to an academy. I will have to see if you are on Patreon. - aAakritRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I just finished reading it in one sitting, please update quickly I need more of this, more more more
It's a very well written novel with very interesting plot and characters, the storyline is good and engaging up until now, still can't wait to read more
Btw, i really like the fact that the MC is someone who focuses on training for skills and knowledge also like the fact that books he reads are mentioned that I have never seen in other novels and I quite appreciate.
I don't mind the fast Levelling of the MC as its totally op but it doesn't break novel because of other knowledge and understanding based contents really amazing work - ReviloliverRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well written and thought out. Love the pace and some of the ideas broached.
I really like that the main character is appropriately selfish when necessary. He is not a murder hobo but neither is he a self-sacrificing saint. He seizes opportunities when they are there and helps others when he can. Most of his actions or logical within the context and it’s nice to see that if he does something stupid it’s only because of lack of info and not because the plot requires it
looking forward to more. - SchusfusterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is kind of a super slow burn start. Dude sleeps through the tutorial instructions and has to figure out all of the System magic himself instead of using menu spells, is introverted and anti-social, etc.
It's really solid, but a lot of it is theory or long explanations, and I honestly skimmed a lot of it. The actual character interactions and plot development were like the hidden chunks of brown sugar in the cream of wheat.
Anyway, he eventually finds this Sentient grimiore that soul binds with him, and this is where the book really picks up, because the banter is just fantastic, very droll and ironic and self aware, and the technique discussion is just *wriggles in pleasure* Calling all system nerds...
Anyway, just wanted to assure people, this book is highly worth your time investment. Okay, back to reading. - NellielRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Not exactly sure how I should go about justifying the quantity of 'style' present but it has it's own relatively unique setting and the style in which it goes about developing the focus of everything is interesting and fresh to me. As I mentioned above the story itself is unique from what i've seen so far and I subscribed to the patreon and wasn't disappointed with the 50 chapters I read afterwards, at times it dragged onwards BUT I don't necessarily think that was bad, it was like bringing the reality of what yiu'd have to go through, to achieve the various feats the mc does achieve, into reality, a lot of time and repetition/trial and error, to this end the author does a good job of making the results quite satisfying to finally be achieved when they are.
Grammar is good overral and I don't remember seeing any glaring mistakes at all, once maybe twice, but nobody is perfect every single time, as good as it can get for something free to see for all. Descriptions could be more in depth I suppose but they are more than enough for helping visualise whatever the focus of them is.
The main character can be faulted more than once but that's simply how people are, give it a read and if you like the way they act and can get behind the logic of it all, then you'll be happy to know that they stick to it relatively consistently. I suppose this might invite potential for character growth eventually, but for now, we will see where Felix goes with this mentality c:
Loved what I read so far, writing this after just finishing chapter 16 in book 2, and hope to read much more to come, keep it up <3 - Terakotek9Royal Road★★★★ 4.0Books 1-4 are quite good, the plot makes kinda sense, but then we got Books 5, which is one of the worst way to develop character.
To ilustrate, lets say that the MC on the end of Book 4 got access to teleportation and it would be nice to see what he is going to do with it. Now, in Book 5, he discovers that he came throw ball and focus to become a professional pitcher.
My advice is to stop reading with Book 4. Later it is not worth it.
MC might be a little dense, but he cast magic in exotic way, so its cool - Daoist GarethRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Liked book one a lot but after his class upgrade in book two thing just became slow , 40 chapters into book 2 and he still hasn’t figured his class out . I will be honest I’m a littlest bummed out. If anyone went further and it does get better please let me know.
- kmuRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Made it this far but it got so boring! Just talk and talk!!.sure he is a great at what he does, but all he does is talk! Nothing changes just the same over and over. How can anyone keep reading this book before I quit I had skipped many chapters hoping it turned into a story but it never did.
