    The story here is just getting underway, but the piece really needs a copyedit to fix all the typos, punctuation and grammar errors. The prose that remains will be a little rough, so some fixing to that is needed to make it more readable as well. The flow of the narration doesn't always match the intended point with a sentence or two removed from the initial reaction before something else comes up, such as describing the man, only to cut away to the guards. As this occurs at the end of the chapter it really shows the lack of setting and the characters themselves before the cut.
