Also, kudos to you if you understand that reference from the synopsis.So, I recently watched Chronicle and I remembered how much I like it. I've also wanted to try fanfiction writing for a while now so I thought why not go for it.Chronicle is a small storyline overall so I decided to do something a little different with it, you'll have to read and wait to see.Also, this is more for my self-enjoyment than anything so sorry if you don't like it.As for romance, I'm not confident enough in my writing in general much less romance. I'll definitely keep it in mind, but it'll be a slow romance if at all. No harem, but MC will probably sleep around. Only one romance partner though, in the end.Obligatory notice of me not owning anything.

The story itself is average really. Well, a little bit under average but a lot can be forgiven as this is his first story.
For one, really like the concept of the Multidimensional Chat Room... but so far most stories that uses this "idea" are made by teens so thirty for the opposite sex that they forget to make an actual pot and focus more on getting that girl, kinda like "gotta collect them all." attitude. This one so far doesn't seem to follow that path... probably? Still too early to hope. But has a very positive outlook that it won't follow that path.
The big complain here is the Wishfulfilment aspect of the story. It needs to be TOLD first in the summary, not soemthing the reader has to discover down the line. There is nothing wrong with a wishfulfilment fic, but it hurts future readers when they read something expecting one thing, and get something else entirely.
Next complain is how fast we went from Chronicles to explore other franchises. It barely FEEL like this had anything to do with Chronicled at all because how sudden it came and went. But gonna chalk it as first story and leave it at that.
The grammar itself is above most stories on this site that FEEL like Chinese garbage. This one feels like someone actually took time to write coherent sentences.
The characters... oh man. Yes, for a first story you can expect some things to be different but the characters? They are OOC, almost if not all of them. The biggest thing that made me scratch my head is how desensitized they are, how... aphatetic towards their fellow man. They seem. Yes, mc has the excuse that he doesn't feel anything when he took his first life... but the others? Hell, Uzui's WHOLE character that made him want to become a Demon Slayer was because of how he hates how his family seem to feel nothing for others.
Tengen especially hated becoming like his brother or father who were apathetic towards human lives and wanted to desperately abandon what he was taught by them.

This is wish fulfillment to its core so don't expect anything new. The story had no noticeable grammar errors so that was nice.
The only problem I have with this story is the way the other characters were portrayed and the way the main character interacted with them. It feels like he trusted them too easily with his secrets because he knew of them from the show/anime and not because he actually trusted them. If you hate a character who shares things too easily then prepare yourself before reading.
