Choice of Power

Ferrus, a simple boy in a simple village during a time of unlimited peace behind a deadly forest and mind-bending mists. However, Ferrus' life will change forever when abominations of power with the very elements on their sides come to find the secrets of the village. The boy's only saving wish is being caught in a space of dead air under rubble of the village elder's home,hishome. Finding the name of a country he never knew, and a people of such unimaginable power, he can't believe he lived his life the way he did until now.

In this world, we will follow Ferrus as he makes his Choices for power upon a specific set of skills. Only in this world can someone be completely unique if they Choose, only in this world can the weakest family birth the strongest power, only in this world is it impossible to be Chosen. No, in this world people are the ones to Choose, they decide themselves, but only if they have the will and the perseverance to go to the top.

-Please don't be judgemental about my synopsis, I tried my best to make it interesting since the title doesn't make it apparent what the goal of this book is. Anyways, I am a first time author hoping to try out this idea I have given some thought on. Please give any reviews and any advice, all is appreciated as I'm still in highschool with need for a lot of it.
