Shining armor, a gallant steed, glistening weapons, a coat of arms, exacting justice.

Don’t make me laugh.

It was all buttered up the way they wanted it to be, and I was just as foolish as to believe them until I saw.

The atrocities they committed that went against the code of honor they swore upon.

And because I saw, they came to me.

The ones who wanted to fix this dastardly system and this rotten empire with their hands.

And so I accept the realization that chivalry is dead.
