Description
Immortality is a myth.
It's something that everyone who reaches the Immortal Realm learns, but nobody has been able to change. Until now.
The goddess Adrianna has devised a secret method of retaining her memories after being returned to the cycle of rebirth. It only requires that her next life start in a magicless world within the Mortal Realm. But that's fine. Her followers are already prepared enact a ritual that will force her chosen planet to ascend to the next realm where she'll once again be able to grow in power.

- StoicLRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is hitting all the right spots in all the right ways. Pacing is steady enough it feels like stuff is happening and not so quick I can’t keep up. Isa, the MC, is a wonderful blend of hopeful intelligent teenager and jaded disconnected Immortal. She hasn’t got everything figured out but she has a good head on her shoulders and a willingness to curiously tread new paths. There’s a nice multilayer blend of world building. A ‘greater’ over realm or multiverse with specific rules and ways those rules interact being recognized enough that we can see the rough shape of them. And an immediate realm in terms of the specific planet and space the planet is occupying. I really like the hint that different planets have different systems. I think it sets up the story fantastically for other ‘lives’. It suggests to me the author plans to use the system as a tool for storytelling and I’m down for that.
Overall a great read and I’m eagerly looking forward to more 😁👍 - BritiusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A story that feels like an extraordinary tapestry of science fiction, fantasy and isekai.
Fom the very first chapter, it captured my imagination into a new realm. A goddess knew she would eventually die and figured out a way to reincarnate with her memories intact.
She reincarnated into a universe where advanced technology seamlessly intertwines with ancient yet newly discovered magic.
The characters are compelling, growing along with the book into more complex and intriguing read and I'm enthralled with how the writer touches on the deepness of what affects our free will without falling into the trap of misery olympics.
I'm VERY interested to reading more and hopefully, I'm at chapter 20, more would be explored about her mortal family. - PeteygRRRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am a huge fan of PftA, and so it was a no-brainer to give this a shot. While Isa bears some superficial resemblance to Emie, the approach to this story is fresh and entertaining and veers hard-right from PftA. This story has great potential, and I look forward to more.
- PewGodRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story is basically about a former goddess reincarnating herself into a new vessel because she is only semi immortal (only lives for like 2 eons pish posh) and she gets reincarnated into a council dictatorship where she cant express curiosity. It 100% deserves the five star review I have given it, very unique please keep updating author!
- Arawn FrostguardRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I don't know why, or how, but it scratches an itch just perfectly. If I had to point out an obvious problem, it would be how few chapters there are.
The MC is nice, if the tiniest bit bland as of right now (though that is expected with her background, so I'm not going to put that in as a negative). She a nice mix of a promise of eventual OPness and current power-level.
The world is interesting, and the way the four Realms coexist promises to be interesting in the future.
Aside from that, what can I say? It has magic, a soft sci-fi world, a gentle system apocalypse, gods and even psionics. I love how there are so many things in the world without it feeling overcrowded, or a jumbled mess.
Nice. - Sable NightRoyal Road★★★ 2.5The main character is interesting, but not exactly compelling. For a story that's based on serial reincarnation there isn't a lot to her personality. The story spends a lot of time talking about what is happening, but really doesn't give us many character growth moments, which seem like the important part for serial reincarnation. I'm disappointed at the loss of her one solid relationship and that the story was doing so much time skipping during that time frame. Also noticed that almost every woman in the story is thought of negatively or villified, except the MC and a child. A worrisome trend.
- Sable99Royal Road★★★ 2.5So... for the first score of chapters, this story is fairly well-written. There's some OK worldbuilding, the MC is kind of bland but interesting enough to keep reading, and I'm at least somewhat curious to see her progression and future story. The author has warned us that the MC will probably die at some point, but I'm OK with this as I really enjoyed a similar trope with "In Loki's Honor" by MDW. But then... when the death happens, it doesn't read well. It feels unearned and pointless, and it abandons all the world-building and characters we've met so far. Considering that my investment in the story was already fairly limited, it makes my attachment in the story drop to nothing at all. I don't recommend this story. Progression/power fantasy can be done better, and reincarnation stories can be done better. Very disappointing. My time with this story was wasted.
- ChompycookieRoyal Road★★ 1.5DO NOT READ if you are looking for a litrpg progression story.
I really wanted to like this story. It had a lot of good ideas, and a unique and interesting premise. But the last four chapter are littered with highly questionable decisions, and the most recent chapter basically ruined the entire story. After chapter 19, there are several time skips that span multiple years, skipping a TON of development relating to the city that Isa is staying in and the relationship with her adopted daughter, which makes me feel like I missed a bunch of important events and makes me feel super disconnected with the story.
The worst part is that in the most recent chapter,
the protagonist just randomly dies out of nowhere????? Like, she fails to assasinate someone, and then they kill her in response. And the worst part is that the person who killed her was, up until this point in the story, portayed as a self-absorbed idiot. I get that it's supposed to be a plot twist, but the difference is so jarring that it doesn't even feel like they're the same character as before. It just feels like the author gave up and threw away thier story and started over again.
Because of that, the entire worldbuilding and character delopment in the story up until this point is just gone. Everything I've been looking forward to regarding the citybuilding aspect, the relationship with her daughter, and the LitRPG progression part of the story, is now irreparibly ruined.
