What happens to the souls of the dead when Charon, a ferryman sworn to Hades, has his oar stolen?  Unable to navigate the river Styx, he turns to a contact in Iowa to track down the thief and retreive his oar.  A sociopathic bounty hunter and his partners, able to slip between realities, have just twenty-four hours to complete their task before the souls of the dead pour over into the realm of the living.  Welcome to the Flip Side.

Charon's Oar is Urban Fantasy.  The main character is an anti-hero.  There is a bit of swearing, and violence.
