Charade Of I

Life can be oh-so cruel. Seina Kanemoto has been chased by the pains of her existence since her life began; unfair expectations, an ideal impossible to reach, and ambitions that were never her own. All these demands leveraged over a child deprived of even their own personhood, forced to instead embrace the charade from her first breath by a family who viewed her only by what she could offer them.

Then she escaped at the age of sixteen.

Now, four years later, she lives a shattered life of a lie, stuck in between the falsehood of herwork modeand the empty void of the remnants of who she once was. She is apathetic to her continued existence, content to simply rot and burn away into nothingness as time siphons her youth away and she degrades towards death.

But there is a light at the end of this tunnel.

And that light is acting.

An abyss of creation where reality is mistaken for fiction and then transformed into revelations. Seina stands on the edge of this world of acting, and her plunge into its depth could be the catalyst that rewrites the script of her life and grants meaning to her existence.

To live through every emotion, to undergo the joys and woes of acting, and to experience the lives of a million characters across a thousand stages. An actress is a tapestry of roles, and if Seina wishes to discover who she truly is, then she must piece herself together from these roles. To free herself from the torturous past of her first life, she must become an actress.

Because if mankind has one life, then how many does an actress have?
