This book is a dark fantasy, to say the least. It’s a story of how even when one feels broken beyond repair there is always a path to healing. It is gruesome, violent, and often heartbreaking; but at the same time the personal growth of the MC, learning to trust other people, learning to love himself and who he is, is a story I am proud to write as it is a story that I've lived myself. Viva La Vita isn't just another book I'm writing, it's the facets of my own life blended with the pages. There is romance, action, comedy, drama, and fantastical elements throughout the story. My goal isn’t to have every person that reads this book love it and review it positively; my goal is to have the growth of my characters be relatable to readers; If they are going through similar feelings or emotions, that they might be able to find solace in the characters and worlds that I have created.

I really like the story so far. Just wish Ryne wasn't such a depressing person sometimes. I get that he's suffering and all, but he really sucks the mood out of the scenes sometimes. Still 4 out of 5 for characters cause I REALLY like the other characters. Eres is AWESOME. Will continue to read for sure, hopefully Ryne gets more likeable as the story goes on. Love that their is enough action to keep things interesting but its not so often that it takes away from the plot. I feel like the pacing is very good, wasn't sure if I was going to after the first 3 or 4 chapters but after the most recent chapter I definitely enjoy the pacing. Very curious to see how Ryne and Eres' relationship blossoms throughout the story. Story is very dark, and def not for the faint of heart or people that are easily triggered but Author did a good job tagging it properly I think. I'm not someone who has dealt with a lot of mental illness type stuff in my life but I feel like the stuff Ryne goes through is pretty hardcore. I don't know if its exaggerated or not, but it definitely feels like the author isn't just making things up for the sake of the story, almost like the author is speaking from expierience (I hope that isn't true because this story is pretty morbid). Regardless, 4.5 out of 5, really enjoy it. Maybe I'd give it a 5 if I understood what Ryne's going through but I can't say. Good stuff so far, keep it up Thatsjustrich
