(In short: The story of a madman going through multiple worlds to reach immortality.)

====== *Full Synopsis* ======Thomas Blackwood, a brilliant programmer, finds himself at the brink of death, consumed by a debilitating illness. Little does he know that his true journey is about to commence.

The story revolves around a man who merges with his advanced AI companion, only to awaken in a mysterious realm. Here, he faces a series of trials set by a powerful entity, bequeathing upon him a unique inheritance. This gift grants him the ability to traverse diverse worlds, each offering unique experiences and challenges. But as he ventures deeper into this multiverse, he grapples with a haunting question: “Was that gift a blessing or a curse?”

Thomas Blackwood's odyssey propels him through realms of enchanting magic and realms governed by relentless cultivation. He becomes a knight in one world and harnesses the dark arts of curses in another.

"May the dice roll in your favor."

====== **Author's Notes:** ======- I as the author have employed multiple pen names throughout my journey, including Chaos_Guide, TS Greed, and Slumbering Dragon.

- This is a fantasy tale with a morally complex protagonist who does not shy away from embracing the darker aspects of his character.

- The story commences in a world devoid of fantasy elements, gradually ascending through the ranks of worlds as the expansive universe unravels.

- The narrative truly takes off with the onset of Volume 2, where the first fantasy world unfolds in all its grandeur.

Overall: The story is like a self help guide, giving a lot of philosophical advice through the character's actions and thinking. I'm still in the early stage of the story, but I loved the part I read.
Story: Full of folktale type little stories are inserted, and blended seamlessly to the main story in the first few chapters, it's really interesting to read. The worldbuilding is coming in later chapters, I guess it's going to be great too.
Characters: Currently I know only two, and MC is an anti-hero, but he is likable considering his ambitious nature and understanding of the world. He is also very smart and quite complex character. All in all he is a solid character, already had a character growth, and the only supporting character has their own voice and seemed to be a good help for MC.
Style: I say it's a simple and direct storytelling style, which I usually prefer over complex hard to follow narrative styles. So far in every chapter, a major event occured, and it's fast paced from the beginning.
Grammar: Direct language, easy to understand, and good vocabulary, enough for me to rate it as good. There were a few typos/spelling mistakes and a few tense mixed sentences I noticed, just a little editing will fix that and they don't affect the story.
I recommend this as an amazing story to read with a solid smart anti-hero.

I would definitely recommend this novel. It falls into the genres that I personally enjoy. Its quite a read. For those who are looking for a binge read there are plenty of chapters. Personally I managed to devour ten chapters in one sitting. Finished the rest a hours later.
So good luck for the future and keep it up.

I started reading this at midnight and went on sleepless; I guess that speaks to its exceptional quality. Now let me tell you things that worked out for me and things that didn't.
The writing style is good. It's very easy to follow, and I think it makes reading web novels easier since I usually have a hard time with stuff that is too descriptive. It has the perfect pace for story painting, enough to let my imagination fill the gaps. Now, don't get me wrong; I love Tolkien, as every other guy, but I do enjoy comfort reads.
The story itself is great, not perfect but great. It sets up a lot since the MC is an anti-hero that deserves proper development. So before you head in, remember that while it is indeed fast-paced, it takes time for it to be rewarding. All good books reward you this way, in my opinion. If you've read Jordan and Sanderson, you'll know.
Grammar is good. I don't think I've seen any errors at all.
The thing that I didn't like is that while the writing style is good, I did not care much about the way it's told - I've never been a big fan of first and third person.
Overall, if you like anti-hero stories that take time to develop and become very rewarding, this one is for you.

I am currently at the 10th chapter, and although this story is not the kind I would normally read, I am gripped.
I like it a lot and would recommend it to anyone interested in an extremely smart protagonist that learns how to do magic.
The general structure is good, and the POV changes are never without a reason, providing a good flow to the individual reading experience.

Excellent story with an interesting Main character. Throughout the story, we follow the Main Character Tom who using his brains invents an AI chip that helped him to regain his health. However, that is not really the ‘interesting’ part as after the forth chapter Tom find himself going through multiple
    Trials.
    Characters:
Interesting Main Character: I like the Character of Tom and his personality to do whatever it takes to achieve his goal. He seems to follow the principle of being ruthless to others but doesn't forget to be ruthless to himself even more. I also like that he is quite cautious and doesn't throw himself at the enemy like many other main characters. Another aspect that I like is that we can see his struggles and what made him become who he is today. We also can see that he isn't perfect, although, for example, in the trial of self passed it with flying colors. However, in the trial of fear, he still struggled to keep up with the challenge creating that sort of high and low feeling.
Noor: if I am being truthful, I think Noor should have stayed longer instead of her "Soul" getting destroyed directly after us just meeting her. If she had stayed longer, I think it might have created a stronger reaction in me than just killing her in the first chapter of the story
    Elements:
Fantasy: The world of fantasy elements seems to come into place bit by bit instead of him just being thrown into a fantasy world by getting stuck by the all well-known truck. I like the fact that we see him trying to make his way into that world.
Horror: Although this isn't a horror story, we went through a horror "Roller-Coster" with Tom in the trial of fear exploring legends of folktales and shared fears.

The book started off quite interesting and the more I read the more I couldn’t get enough. The author has really well described scenes and a very fluid writing style. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who wants a nice refreshing read!
    Style
The writing style is very easy to follow and not complicated in the slightest(perfection), making it perfect for anyone to read. My only caveat would be the distribution of images in a chapter, I personally find them distracting and it can push you out of the immersion.
    Story
The story is well paced and has a solid and equal distribution of the similar narrative between each chapter, making it flow perfectly.
    Grammar
Very rare grammatical errors, I’ve only found a few while reading but they don’t harm the story too much. I’d say that a 3rd person proof read could clear the lingering errors easily.
    Character
I really like anti-hero leads and I think the author executed the mc perfectly, I don’t have any issues with it at all.
    Overall
It was a great read and I can definitely feel the emotion and care the author put in. I look forward to continue reading this interesting tale.

I have read until chapter 25 and I've really enjoyed it so far. Overall is a great read.
    **Overall:**
Chaos Guide by Slumbering Dragon takes readers on a thrilling journey through a multiverse, blending action, fantasy, and a morally complex protagonist. While some aspects show promise, there's room for improvement in immersion and character depth.
    **Style:**
The setting and theme captivate. The author's consistent pacing, intense scenes, and creativity contribute to an overall interesting experience. Clearer transitions in point of view and a more immersive tone could enhance the storytelling.
    **Story:**
The narrative unfolds at a fast pace, offering a constant stream of excitement. However, the rapid progression can sometimes hinder understanding and emotional connection. Attention to detail in scene transitions and exploration of the protagonist's wants and likes and inner demons, especially in the face of trials, would add significant value.
    **Grammar:**
The grammar is solid, with minimal errors if any. The writing maintains clarity and readability. Frankly, I'm not very good at spotting grammar errors but I didn't see anything bad.
    **Character:**
The protagonist, Thomas Blackwood, stands out as a determined force with potential for depth. While likable, the third-person narrative initially presents him as somewhat flat. As the story progresses, delving into his character's intricacies and relationships could further enrich the reading experience.
In conclusion, Chaos Guide is a standout fiction with the potential for greatness. Its cunning protagonist, creative style, and thrilling narrative make it a compelling read. With some refinements in style and character exploration, this story could truly shine.

    Overall
There's nothing I can say bad about the series. I have a lot of critiques, but nothing bad. The overall experience of reading it left me interested in the direction it is headed. The author maintains a consistent pace that works in its favor, while also including a lot of very intense scenes described well enough to provoke imagery.
    Style
The setting and theme of the story is amazing. The biggest critique with the style is the way the story is told in the third person. It is a story that focuses a lot on telling the reader what's happening that makes it hard to truly become immersed. It gives the feeling of an impersonal observer just dictating what they witness.
While the author makes it somewhat clear at the beginning that's what is happening the tonality of the way its written can be hard to get connected to.
    Story
The story starts fast and doesn't stop moving. That can at times make it hard to keep up and understand how and why certain things are happening, and dampen the emotional value of the scenes and characters to the readers. At the same time it also allows us to constantly have a fast paced fun that keeps things interesting enough to keep going.
Another thing storywise I would note is how the author uses breaking points labeled as (pov change). However, as you read the tale still follows the MC from the same perspective. There us very little detail that reveals as to how the PoV has actually changed. I would either recommend changing the page break to symbols of some sort or clarify the different scenes in a way that reveals how the point of view has changed. As it maintains the same 3rd person telling format.
    Grammar
The grammar itself seemed fine. I didn't notice commas or periods where they weren't supposed to be or any spelling errors. I did notice that sometimes the tense structure of a sentence or scene didn't fit the what hs been used through most of the story.
    Character
There's nothing wrong with the characters and as the story progresses

The novel is great and the MC is a villain genre as provided. The only downside to this book is the pace is slow for me. Overall, it wasn’t that bad of a read. I probably stopped reading because of the pacing of the book. Yup, that’s all I have

Overview: Thomas Blackwell lives on a world that I'd call an alternate Earth. He's a brilliant, even mad, scientist plagued by an unspecified fatal condition who, in a desperate bid to live forever, he cut ethical corners to create an advanced AI that would let him survive. Attempting to merge his consciousness with the AI launches him into the world of the soul, where he must ascend a spiritual tower and face allegorical challenges to come closer to his goal of immortality.
Style: Chaos Guide uses a narrative style that I'd categorize as similar to that found in light novels. It's direct and tells you what's happening without too much dwelling on descriptive flair. What's most interesting, however, is that the story is told by a narrator that isn't seen often in English fiction: the peripheral omniscient. The narrator mixes first and third person to tell us the story, but that is because it is telling us the story, like an old man sitting at a campfire spinning an entertaining yarn.
Story: The early story is more like an extended prologue, showing us who the main character is and how they got to be where they are. It focuses on their ascent through some form of afterlife towards something more than the mundane existence of a world like ours.
Grammar: This probably the major weak point of Chaos guide, but not so much that the story is ever unreadable. It's more like the story is a translation by someone who's conversational or fluent, but not a native English speaker.
Character: Some readers will see 'Anti-Hero Lead' and 'Villainous Lead' up in the story tags and tell themselves that's no big deal. Then they'll read this story and feel like they've been duped. So listen up: the main character commits murder when inconvenienced before the story even gets to any fantasy worlds. He's selfish and obsessed with immortality. He is not a good person so don't come in thinking he just might be.
