Description
My submission for a short story contest here on RoyalRoadl about the New Year. I only posted this now to make up for my other book being on hiatus.
A story about hate and love, truth and lies, falling and redemption, memories and redemption. This is a story of an accused boy on his way back to his previous path of life along with a certain girl that would help him through the way.

- RznRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Written in a first-person perspective, the short story begins far removed from the actual events that have already been set in motion so reading to the end is really the only way to piece it all together. The dialogue is really unnatural in spots, and frankly so was the instigating incident. Putting it simply, this follows anime/manga tropes without considering the underlying complexities that would occur in real life. This doesn't feel like it follows those tropes, or perhaps it was done unintentionally, but it was distracting from the main plot. This was good, but it too long to put itself together. The ending made up for it a little.
