Description
Shazam. The Champion of the Gods.
Blessed with the Wisdom of Solomon, the Strength of Hercules, the Stamina of Atlas, the Power of Zeus, the Courage of Achilles and the Speed of Mercury.
I never asked for these powers.
I never asked to be booted off to Marvel in a new body with these powers.
But you know what you do with lemons right?
Yeah, I never really liked lemons. I'm probably going to die here.
******
The universe is a mix of the MCU and the marvel animated projects, so expect to see mutants and other characters.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but my character.

- Rock_SoupRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Okay so I am redoing my review. Previously, I made a early review with 5 stars. I have seen my mistake, and wish to repent, this story feels rushed but not rushed? Like an world ending disaster happened very early on, but his powers is still stuck with only two parts of SHAZEM power. I would enjoy it more if it took more time to just, relax and expand on the characters instead of rushing in with more plots points.
- Alpha ZergRoyal Road★★★ 3.0This has a decent concept and is easy enough to read, with few grammatical or spelling issues. The story itself is held back, however, by a huge character point that isn't mentioned in the summary at all: the character does not, in fact, have the Powers of SHAZAM. He has a knockoff "System" that gives him quests with rewards including everything from a new bed to items of power related to SHAZAM. His "SHAZAM Powers" as mentioned in the summary are misleading at best and a lie at worst.
If you want to read about a character who gets dropped into Marvel and immediately has their hand held by quests popping up like "Join a Highschool" with the reward being a new bed, then this will be interesting for you.
If you want to read about someone imbued with the powers of SHAZAM in Marvel... This is not quite that. It might eventually become that, but even then, it's not quite what the summary would lead you to think.
Misleading intro and disappointing character choices, but at least the writing is pretty good from a technical standpoint, plot choices notwithstanding. - SkyWorthyRoyal Road★★★ 3.0If you’re looking for a high quality story, this isn’t the one. Spelling mistakes abound, auto correct changing words (or perhaps the author had only misheard the word in context before). This includes character names.
Plot wise, it does some really strange things too. He gives the main character the powers of Shazam, then says he needs to unlock each piece of it individually. That’s fine, we love an underdog story. But then he makes the single power he starts with so OP that he can take down a threat that would need the entirety of the avengers team to defeat.
He makes the character of age to go to school, then makes the character just… not go.
He makes it out that the main character is this real do-gooder, only wanting to save as many people as possible… after making him pocket stolen money.
What. But sure, whatever.
Then we suddenly have an extinction level event happen. Which this early in the story is really weird? I would have expected that after a few books in. And the result is that only this main character can save the world?
Really it just all feels weird, rather than compelling. Maybe it’s just not for me. - CorruptedErtaiRoyal Road★ 1.0I don't know how to begin. The description is misleading. The powers he gets are only barely tangentially relatable to Shazam. The process he goes through to aquire them is overly vague and convoluted. The plot choices by the time I stopped reading seemed beyond misguided. To the point I actually wondered if author was intentionally trying to destroy immersion so badly it couldn't be recovered. Just no. Not worth the time if you want a real story to be able to sink into in any way.
