Chakra Resonance: A Naruto SI
Community Rating
Description
Summary:"Reborn in pre-canon Konoha with memories of my past life, I discover a strange connection to the chakra around me that seems unlike normal sensor abilities. With knowledge of this world's future, I face a difficult choice: remain a passive observer or try to change the tragedies I know are coming. But with my body still that of a child and fate seemingly set in stone, can I make a difference? SI/OC with civilian background. Slow Burn."This is aslow-burn, emotionally-driven, coming-of-age story. If you're looking for instant power fantasies and mass murder, this isn't the tale for you. But if you're here for subtle growth, emotional realism, and layered character development... you might just find something special.
P.S. This story is cross posted on both SpaceBattles and Archive of Our Own, under the same handle.

- noblewolfRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This started off kinda shaky for me because the mc seemed like one of those generic mature/immature ones but it slowly becomes one of his charms because of his consistent and growth from his interactions with the world. I appreciate how the author is not doing too much jitsu/chakra explanation seeing as it's a fucking Naruto fanfic and I never understand why most authors continuously focus on it like their doing something new. I'm looking forward to upcoming chapters and it's looking like the MC is gonna have a respectable level of emotional intelligence which will be a refreshing change in this genre n trope.

As the title states, drama and more drama. There is a bunch of self reflection, and self imposed drama conflict within the character that is constantly there as an annoyance.
I suppose this is an attempt at character development, but is directly clashes with the isekai nature of the story and sours everything in my opinion. There shouldn't be much development particularly not at this time over these topics.
STORY-
There is quite a bit of forced drama and political intrigue that is entirely illogical, and shoehorned in, and that's where I had to stop. It defies my sense of disbelief far too much. There is plenty of time for conflict it doesn't need to be everywhere all the time in such a contrived fashion.
Character-
This is all not to mention the story uses the "kid not acting like a child" drama line to induce tension like an unbreakable cliche. This technique is overused far too much in other stories, particularly to drag the story out and add fake depth.
These three factors reflect the style, story, and character scores.
The Grammar itself is nearly perfect and I am genuinely struggling to remember any errors.
Tldr. Soap opera levels of drama. It's well written but terribly cliche, contradictory, and defies my sense of disbelief.
