Bleeding to death was unexpected, but waking up in a magical world sure as hell beat that. Hunters and Adventurers didn't chase glory, they ensured that humanity continued to persist. Those in charge tried their best to suppress how dire their situation was but, deep down, everyone knew the truth. The future looked bleak and Lev wasn't willing to accept it lying down, not when he had yet to truly live even once.Armed with two titles of unfathomable power, apprenticed under an obscenely strong mage, and accompanied by a precious found family, Lev was going do his utmost to not just survive, but to thrive on the harrowing planet. He finally had the power to make a difference, and he wasn't afraid to embrace it.No number of monsters would stand in his way to forge a worthwhile future.

- ThePentherRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The prose is excellent. The dialogue feels natural. The characters feel real. The setting is rich. The series is impeccable. Love every line.
This series is utterly fantastic. Our MC (Lev), is at the heart of an incredible moment in the history of the setting, and he wants to be the fulcrum of societies advancement through self mastery and exploitation of every opportunity he comes across. Everything will try to stop him. He will meet every occasion, but he will have losses and failures and come back stronger and more motivated. - M9750Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0so far really enjoying the story.
Really like the characters.
The MC isn't an idiot but also not a Genius by any means.
System is powerful but so far he hasn't made it to the OP point yet. currently not understanding where will his path lead he has archery, magic and fists
All in all I recommend you read it.
Really looking forward to more. - AzeariRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I enjoy the story and writing very much, I am appreciating the rolling out of depth in the world and characters. I am intrigued to see how it develops. Haven’t been this captivated by a series in awhile. Hope it keeps going and maintains a good pace! Came over after reading on KU after seeing a Reddit thread.
- Thor HammerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am loving this story. The protagonist is a reincarnated soul, but unlike many other stories his mentor knows about it. All of the upper echelon eventually know about it. I do not want too put any spoilers, but there is a reason why they all know, and it makes sense in the story. A refreshing change from many reincarnations. Protagonist still has some secrets to keep, but this has been a very thoroughly enjoyable binge read. Going to follow and maybe even favorite the series!
- TheSpoonThatDiedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly one of the better stories I've read on here. Would absolutely recommend.
The earlier chapters are a bit rough but still genuinely enjoyable. The prologue is pure cinema tho.
One of my favourite aspects of this story are definitely the kind characters. Didn't realize I was tired of the constant backstabbing and evil schemes lol. Nice to see a united humanity and helpful characters for a change.
<3 - EsZeusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall Summary:
I am normally a highly critical person. So me giving this a 5 star review means something, I would say.
The Story starts solid, it has a LOT of things going on in the background, but it still focuses 99,9% on the MC only. Which I LOVE. I hate it if a story is branching to much and you can´t focus on all the different characters and story lines. Here it is simple and I enjoy following the MC through the world, his training, getting stronger and just being who he is.
He has some minor and major flaws, but they are getting fixed here and there. I know that he is still young, has hormone problems, and his two lifes were not easy and short, too.
So everything that happens is kind of rational.
Style:
The style of the story is solid & decent in my opinion. The story doesn´t start world shattering but the Author has a good understanding on how to write and introduce things.
I can´t find any major flaw here, and for a first time write, it´s really awesome.
Story:
The Story itself shows us the Journey of Lan MC who was orphaned 2 times. In his first life, until he died (18y) randomly because of some weird experiments people used him on, then being reincarnated into a fantasy world where Human´s somehow stranded.
The background information that is slowly trickled into the worldbuilding and story telling is showing us WHY this all happened. And there is some way bigger plot behind everything, which is shown bit by bit.
I really like the world building, the pacing & time skips, the characters and how everything is told. While the MC is still growing up, everything he does (mostly) makes sense. Especially with the knowledge in the back of my head about his hard first life where he just reached 18 years of life, too.
Grammar:
The Grammar is solid. It improves a LOT later on, but I didn´t find any major flaws early on that itnerrupted my reading flow somehow. That could also be because I am not native English, but nonetheless I am pretty fluent when it comes to rea - jotsyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you want a world that feels alive and full of depth, then Ceaseless Horizons is a great place to find yourself.
The author has created a delightful and intriguing world, and while the story does take a little bit to up the stakes, when those stakes arrive, they arrive in full flourish with nothing to slow them down. - LifestriderRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story has a strong world building and a cool magic system. Its leveling system is reminiscent of Azarinth Healer. The story is about 60% fighting, 15% character ability growth and consideration, 10% navel-gazing, and 10% character interactions.
The good:
The combat is good and satisfying. The character ability growth is too. The mysteries of the world are interesting and engaging. The writing is very technically good, and has few errors.
The struggles:
The story is somewhat lacking in meaningful character development of the main character, mostly because of the big missing point--the character has an extremely casual relationship with like five people, and a deep relationship with three. And for those three, the foundations of the relationship happened in a time skip.
Dialogue and character interaction are essential to properly fleshing out a main character. As-is, his strongest personality traits are wanting to be treated in an egalitarian fashion, power thirst, and hatred of authority.
Give the kid some hobbies aside from meditation and killing things, and give him some peer friends! Making his motive wanting to help humanity when he's basically a shut-in that talks to no one but a few people and as needed to go fight things is limiting in the MCs character development. - FireafriyieRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Genuinely a fun read, and I enjoy how the story is progressing. At first i thought it was going to be some LitRPG slop that i would use to fill the time, but i was wrong. I like it now. Solid 7.5. I like the progression and how the MC isn't instantly powerful but has to be smart and resourceful too
- MarvekTheWarlordRoyal Road★★★ 3.0It's a pretty good story, with a solid world and mostly interesting plot.
The main problem I have is with the characters, including the mc. He's kind of weird in his motivations and goals, and I know the author makes a point of addressing it but it still feels shallow and inconclusive. Combine that with the fact that every situation ends with him passed out and then saved by someone stronger, and I mean EVERY situation, and the whole thing feels kind of aimless. He never really accomplishes things, triumphs over something hard. He either throws himself at something too hard and passes out, or is "so strong" that he breezes through without any stakes. It's not very fulfilling and a little repetitive, I get that it's being set up for something bigger, but I don't really find myself caring. Also the other characters seem slightly two dimensional? Kind of like card board cut outs of what their role in the story is, except for Beatrice I liked her. They treat the mc with a lot of pity, and sometimes it feels condescending almost? I get he's a kid, but he's also a grown man.
Another thing is the whole he's a kid thing, it's handled kind of awkwardly. It's always acknowledged that he's a grown man in a kids body, but also he acts like a child in the weirdest ways, especially with the female characters. He's excessively asking for hugs, head pats, and sometimes laying on the laps of women he constantly claims are beautiful. It's a little uncomfortable. Platonic most of the time, but still a little weird for a grown man in a kids body. He also cries a lot (which i don't have a problem with) but it feels unearned, like "oh, I want him to be sad now... Tadaa" and then he cries. Doesn't feel totally earned even if appropriate for the situation.
For grammer and writing, it's pretty solid. Some mistakes but otherwise not bad.
Pacings a little varied, with some time skips and age skips. Kind of brushed off but ok.
World building is probably my favorite part, I just wish it was mor
