When Sleeping Beauty's sleeping spell starts expanding, threatning the entire capital, a maid trapped in the now-abandoned castle must use her innate magical abilities to resolve the crisis.
It's an interesting premise, though the execution is a little lacking. The biggest issue is that the start is far too slow. The Slee-pocalypse is clearly the heroine's call to adventure. Yet, it didn't really occur until chapter 8 and it spanned all of chapters 9, 10 and 11. That's a quarter of the way through the chapter count and slow as molasses. Not to mention that chapters 1-7 had what seemed like so much filler, including the introduction of, what, a dozen side-characters? Almost none of whom I recalled later.
The last point I want to mention is that although this story is tagged as "Original," you really ought to believe the synopsis: It's set in the world of Sleeping Beauty and, in short, is an alternate telling of the tale (or at least the early portion of it). I'd consider it a "Fan Fiction," though that term is usually used in the context of modern stories.
To be clear, I applaud the author for the work. It's a very clever twist on Sleeping Beauty and, under the right mindset, I would enjoy it. But the first several chapters (and perhaps the rest of the work; I did not finish it admittedly) should be rehashed.
