Cascadance [A Cozy Isekai Farming LitRPG Fantasy]

Description

This story unfolds slowly, letting you explore the world and meet its people. Rather than rushing the plot, each chapter explores a different skill or character, together forming a magical picture of Cascadance. It's a cozy fantasy, but like you're wandering through a video game with only vague instructions and almost no resources.

If you prefer a story with a more traditional narrative structure, you can start with the second book, Taurus, at chapter 45, which opens with an inciting incident right away.

Working on the Gemini arc. I don't have a date I'll start posting.

When Val steps through a Guardian mirror into Cascadance, she expects a quirky game. Instead, she finds a chaotic world where seasons are governed by the zodiac and Ophiuchus, a snake monster full of corrupted magic, poisons the land. She must repair the abandoned farm, rebuild forgotten shrines, and make peace with prickly Cascadance residents to fix the tangled ley lines.

Meanwhile, Fen is tasked by the Guardians to raise and train a blessed kitten named Shuilong. At the end of the week of Aries, he reluctantly agrees to help Val on her restoration quest.

This is a farming litrpg inspired by Stardew Valley with zodiac-based magic.

–Every resident has magic and they’re not afraid to use it… to shake fruit off Taurus trees.–Fen’s Libra protective spells guard against more than snake monsters; he has to guard fiery stag beetles from his kitten’s Pisces water magic.–Weekly farm guests range from playful Aries mud rams to Gemini-infused tornadoes.–The Guardians’ System tracks everything but Val’s too busy befriending the oak dryad to care about maxing stats...until a crafting festival comes along.
