- ArcanaVitaeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I don't really think highly of most superhero and villian fanfictions with orginal worlds but everynow and then you get something special and this is one of the special ones. It has extermely a fascinating world with many sources of powers and factions, as well as a intersting history that makes me want to learn more about the world. The chacretrs are wonderful as well with the main charecter being a villian Carnvial who is an experince charecter who is compent and likable without seeming unrealsitc and overpowered. I would befinetly reccomend reading it.
- obliviousRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0With no cover image and such a minimalist description, I wasn't expecting much. It's immediately apparent that the writing quality is excellent, however. That writing quality is the selling feature of the story, with great action scenes, entrancing tone, well written characters and dialogue, etc. One thing that stands out in particular is action scenes involving multiple capes we've never scene before, with non-generic powers we don't know, yet the scenes make perfect sense and are fun to read.
The story starts with a cold open, with an alien Earth explained slowly with each chapter. The characters and setting seem promising, but we'll have to see how it unfolds.
