Paul Silver's earliest memories was of growing up in an orphanage. No different from many young boys, he had high hopes for his future. He hoped to become someone strong, rich, and confident; a leader among men.

But alas, Paul Silver will learn quite quickly, that there’s nothing special about him, and if he doesn't try with all his strength to lift himself up, he won't be able to escape the heavy gravity of the abyss. Born in the dirt with the other bottom feeders of society, his hunger will pull him deeper and deeper.

Will Paul Silver find the strength within himself to break free of the soil and reach for the light? In a world of monsters and demons, even living a normal life is a luxury. It's uncertain whether Paul Silver will even live long enough to fully grow up.
