In a quaint village shadowed by ancient mountains, fourteen-year-old Sophie’s world is turned upside down when her mother falls gravely ill from a rare, incurable disease. With her father long gone, Sophie’s only hope lies in an elusive legend whispered among the villagers—a mystical candy shop hidden in the mountains.
