  I came across this story from your promotion on the forums, so I've come to show my support as an up-and-coming author as well. Generally, your story is pretty well-written and interesting, which shows that a simple plot with a few characters can still be captivating so long as your descriptive abilities are good. Now, for the detailed breakdown on the respective sub-categories.
  Style - Well, my personal opinion is regardless of genre, so long as the readers can visualise the scenes of the story well, the author has already done an excellent job in his writing. After all, the most important aspect of a story is for readers to understand whatever you've written, so keep up your direct and simple writing style!
  Story + Character - Plot wise, your story may seem rather generic, a child of an assassin brought up in the way of the shadows to learn how to fend for himself/herself when the time comes. However, what makes a story unique is the minor differences in details, character development and pace of the story. As far as I can see, your story is pretty well-balanced so I do think that your story is great despite a predictable storyline.
  Grammar - OK, enough of the sugar-coated words thus far. This is one area that you really have to pay attention to, as I can see several recurring mistakes throughout your writing. The most blatant of all is "women" when it should be "woman". When you said you were a native English speaker, I had pretty high hopes, but they were quickly dashed when I saw the above mentioned. I suggest typing your story on Microsoft Word before you copy-paste it onto RRL. This way, you can eliminate the ridiculous and obvious grammatical errors from your work. We're only but mortals; but that doesn't mean we can't strive for perfection.
