Description

Call of Duty - Operation Voldemortis the mashup you always wanted but never knew you needed.

This wild, action-packed parody combines the high-octane intensity of modern warfare with the whimsical (and absurd) magic of the wizarding world, resulting in a story that will leave you laughing, shaking your head, or both. When Captain Price and his elite team of soldiers are called to take down the dark wizard Voldemort, they find themselves navigating a universe where broomsticks replace helicopters and curses fly slower than a well-aimed headshot.

Let’s be honest—Harry PotterBook 7 had more convenient plot devices than a bad spy movie. In this author’s opinion, that’s because theCall of Dutyteam was secretly supporting Harry Potter behind the scenes, ensuring he didn’t get taken out by a bunch of guys in cloaks who still think owls are the pinnacle of communication technology.

Whether it's stealthily infiltrating Malfoy Manor or figuring out why wizards insist on waving sticks around instead of just pulling a trigger, this book is packed with moments that rip on both beloved universes.

The author acknowledges there was far too much AI assistance in this book, but also far too much alcohol, leaving the author incapable of writing without help. All this was hammered out in basically a writing spree, so buckle up for the wild ride.

Yes, there are plot holes. No, the author doesn’t care. This is fanfiction at its most chaotic, designed to entertain and amuse, not to be taken too seriously.

This is just an interesting crossover fanfic that is exactly what you'd expect. It is well-written and does make sense, narratively and in the resolution of the plot. I do have some minor concerns about the conclusion not being accurate given the book ending. This is a fun read, and fairly short. If you don't mind a little modern destruction of the Wizarding World, then give this a shot.
