Calamitous Luck

Some people are born lucky. Some people are not. Some people are just lucky enough to scrape past life's problems by the skin of their teeth. Some people aren't lucky enough to be one of those three.

Meet James. In his world, it's normal to be able to see one's abilities boiled down to a handful of numbers on an ephemeral screen. James doesn't have luck. And that doesn't mean he just has a lot of bad luck. He has no luck. Zero, zilch, bupkis, nada, niet luck.

But what he does have is one very unique trait. Calamitous Luck. With it, maybe he will just manage to survive.
