Daniel does not see it that way. He does not need to be fixed and he does not want to be someone else.

Whatever else changes, he at least has confidence that he can remain himself.

Sadly for Daniel, no one cares what a little kid thinks. Fortunately for Daniel, no one cares when a little kid makes a fool out of themselves.
