You can tell the author is a bit inexperienced in writing, but has taken the first steps to tell their story. The very fact they wish to put it all on the line to do that shows their passion.
Although the story lacks polish and pacing, you can get the sense of the emotion that the author wants to convey, a sorta sand and sandals, grimdark vibe. I think with a trusty beta reader and some lessons in the finer technical spects of story structure and character developement this story would thrill anyone looking for action driven good time
as is, the story needs work, but i know our intrepid author is on the right track to show the world what they have to offer
