Break This Curse

Alania Silverwind is a gnome woman aged around 162 years young. She spent the last hundred years in the town of Frostguild, apprenticing under an aged elf named Corlieus in the art of languages and literature. Now, she wishes to start her duties in earnest, moving to the small town of Quakeshire and opening a bookshop there. Spending the majority of her savings, Alania meets with the mayor of the town, Leno, to work out purchasing a building to turn into a bookshop. The building she purchases has a decent amount of space for her inventory and a small room upstairs for her to live in. All goes well until she finds out the last tenant put a curse on the place, and what's worse, the Crown's Curse Breakers have gone missing! As if things couldn't get any more complicated, the Red Wench, a mercenary for hire, approaches her with a deal; she will help Alania, for a price. Will they find the Curse Breakers before it's too late, and will Alania save herself while also taming the rough-around-the-edges Red Wench?
