Breaching Reality

In the far future, mankind has spread out across the solar system, and brought their squabbles with them. As the inner system gears up for war, an increasing number of people are pushed further outwards. Some choose the last option short of leaving the solar system entirely, moving into the Oort Cloud. Seeking to avoid the increasingly controlling governments and threat of war, they are unprepared for the war that finds them, and the means by which these so called "Gods" wage it

This is a story based around the idea of sci-fi versus magic. Expect some realistic space ships facing off against literal star pirates, with sails and everything, at some point.
