- 2 Eyes of RedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What can I say? It's obvious the author loves his craft, putting care and detail into every chapter of this story.
Style: Emotional, easy to follow. Present tense is an unusual choice for a story on Royal Road I feel, but the quality of the story is well worth it.
Grammar: Every chapter is meticulously written, and there are little to none grammar mistakes as far as I can tell.
Story: It pulls you in, having a generally long plot arc that has a slow-burn feel to it. The fight scenes are among the best I've ever read, and it focuses a lot on individual progression. I love the innovative new ideas the author comes up with.
Character: Beautifully fleshed-out characters. They are, in my opinion, the best part about this story---characters that draw you in. You will root for them as if you were right there besides them. There are no characters that feel like they're simply there as a paper placeholder to make the main character feel more overpowered, as a lot of stories on Royal Road have. They each have their own troubles, their stories, and their histories. Each pokemon has their own personalities and powersets, progressing through their own effort and hard work. - AressweRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Seriously this is such a great story.Im a huge fan of Pokemon and have played all the games, so when I saw this story pop up I knew I had to give it a go. And im so happy I did because its amazing. Great storyline, love the world building within an already existing world, and the characters are deep/intersting. Cant wait to see where this goes, great work Fuggmann!
- AveragehermitRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Always been kind of dismissive about stories built from shows/games, but this one truely does it right. Just binged all the chapters in the last day and I love that the story brings real depth and not just a random isekai pokemon story. All in all, I highly recommend. Going to go look what else author has written
- AmirGRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Words cannot describe what I experienced here. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.The world building is superb, the bonds are more real than anything I have seen in my life. The plot makes me shudder in anticipation for what the next day will bring...The feelings this story, no, this masterpiece! bring up are intense in all the right departments. The passion that was imbued into this is undeniable.
- AzunthRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Excellently Done. The author has a strong command of voice, and balances action and drama well. Those who are familiar with the anime will pick up references you otherwise wouldn't get, but as someone only familiar with the Honenn region via the original Sapphire, I have no problem following the story; it should be accessable to those only passingly familiar with Pokémon.
- Book GremlinRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I will be honest; I have never really read more then the first few chapters of a fanfiction before this story. I used to look down on people who wrote it, as most of them were poorly written or just wish fufillment from the author. So, when I stumbled across this story, I was...reluctant.I was wrong.I was so, so wrong. This is one of the best written, character driven novels I have ever read. The prose is fantastic, the story is excellent, the pacing is great, and the characters are fleshed out and have so much detail and depth to them. But the thing I admire most about the story is the world.See, this story takes the world of Pokemon, all the lore and various regions scattered throughout the games, and it makes them better. It adds a realistic depth to the unrealistic video game world, grounding the whole story in reality. It takes existing characters in the games and anime and expands on them so much that it feels like the anime is the fanfiction at times. It's great. Its funny, its heartbreaking, and it makes me smile every chapter.Just...read it.You won't regret it.
- Dakota MierRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0all im gonna say/ask/demand is that you don't give up this story, find an author to take over, take a year break and comeback to try again, or just look at it every time you go to write for a chance, but don't stop this masterpiece. i have this set as one of my weekly re-reads now. if it suddenly stops or worse, goes into that horrific coma known as hiatus, i may just cry.
- DarthJarJarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It is consistently a surprisingly awesome book. Then there are a few moments where this book absolutely transcends, cementing itself as a legendary novel. In line with all the canonical pokemon literature and meta, but the writing is top notch. Rather I should say that once the character is isekai'd into Hoen, he makes the story his own, quickly making his canonical pokemon knowledge obsolete. This is a very real experience. You can really visualize the battles. You get to really understand what the protagonist is going through. And it's got the fun big explosion fights.fox go brrrrr
- Deaths EveRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall, I like the story so I'll just put things i don't like
Slow update, not enough for me to be satiated
MC kinda naive to me but it was part of story and growth

Aaaaahhhhh!!! My eyes hurt!!! - Dr NuisanceRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I was frowning upon reading fanfictions before as i would like to read an original story. Glad to say this broke the ice on that.
Regarding the style. I enjoy reading this story, there is nothing in the story that makes you hang up trying to understand it and everything is written in a clear manner.
The story so far has been great the only issue i have is that i crave more chapters. I really liked the pokemon pov chapter and hope to see more of that. I read through every chapter with a smile on my face.
There isn't a single grammar mistake i could spot which further enchances my speed of going through the chapters. Comparing the grammar to some stories where it makes the chapters nigh unreadable is like comparing a Magikarp to a Gyarados.
The characters are also deserving of 5 stars. All of them are getting more and more fleshed out as the story progresses. The pokemon aren't a mindless weapon but actually have personality.
I'm not much of a reviewer but this story deserved the five stars across the board. Your other story Borne of Desire while it had a similar style I'm glad it didn't become a copy of this but its own story. Now gib more chapters please.
