    Hi Sakinah,
I enjoyed reading Born Broken and thank you for the invitation to peruse some of your work.  I'm new to this site but I am enjoying the stories I am reading, especially when they are character driven and well written like yours.  I believe this strengths of this story rest in the subtextual dialogue and how the characters are fleshed out by their often restrained and guarded ways of communication.  I like the use of first person to explore the "angst" and I think some of the setting descriptions are efficient and well placed.  My only suggestion, and this was once told to me once by a pretty blunt editor, is to establish the world of this novel a little more, whether it be through creating context, setting, or structuring the chapter to establish norms and conventions associated with the genre of the story.  Aside from this sole suggestion, I would appreciate reading more whenever it is available, and would always appreciate a reciprocated review in return.  Thank you for connecting, and I sincerely love the style of your writing. Very literary and oftentimes, poetic.

    ANGST.
I just can't get that word out of my head. Maybe the author just focuses on that emotion throughout their entire writing process or maybe the style is just meant to invoke that thought in my head. I certainly can't say for sure, my mind is too filled with how much damn angst there is in this sh*t.
More conversation heavy than expected. Also repeats more than a few things. Didn't like the ending that much but whatever. Grammar is fine enough. Characters are.... angst. That's about everything I have to say. 4.5/5 from me.
