Book of Lucidaeth

The land of Lucidaeth, blessed by the Lumen tree to prosper. The land of everything that shines and glows but this is only a shell of light. What may lie under this shell should no mortal ever know but the thing under this shell may just peer it’s head out from under the shell into the world of light. Only then will the mortals know of what lies beneath the surface of their blessed lands.

Hello readers!

This book will hopefully be a part of a series where we explore the world of Lucidaeth but I will only write about the world of Lucidaeth in this book. I will write about some prevalent characters in the story of Lucidaeth but will not deep dive into who they are. Some of the more prevalent characters will get their own books where their origins will be explored. I could also if I get enough readers do some kind of voting for some characters you’d want to learn more about. These character books will not be long but I hope to make them interesting and worthwhile to read to understand the world of Lucidaeth a little more. The plan is to write one chapter in this book and then make some character books to then make another chapter in this one. Each chapter will tell you as the reader a bit of Lucidaeth’s story and contain characters worth exploring. Each chapter will also tell me about the story of Lucidaeth as I will not story board this or anything. I will write this as things come to mind. I use some ai to make some names for the story but I will not use it to create lore or change my writing style.

This world and story takes some inspiration from the soulsborne games from from software. You as a reader may in some bits of the story see this inspiration so I wanted to make it clear from the beginning that the soulsborne games are the inspiration for the world.

I want to give a shout out to the YouTuber who gave me this idea and made me want to write this story. His YouTube channel is named VaatiVidya. He make gaming lore videos and they are super good. I was watching one of his prepare to cry videos on Elden ring and got this idea so check him out. He has the most interesting gaming lore videos on the whole internet.
