It takes for a good story to catch my attention. While it takes a great story for me to binge reading even to the point of considering taking a paid leave from work (seriously) just to read till the new chapters. Blooming Thorn is the later here. If you look pass the grammatic errors here and there (the author is making progress at the later chapters), the scenes which could have been executed much better, and what could possibly turn off the novel for you, you're in for a good ride.
The story of Blooming Thorn reminds me of a Coming-of-Age story, mostly how the main character grows as a person. But the main character isn't the only one getting the growth. A lot of the casts gets this as well with the story being told from their point of view. A lot of people hates this but I like part of the story as I can see the opinions of the character from 'THEIR' view, not the main character.
The author is making progress in improving their writing as of late. Still, if they want to give their story more quality, an editor and/or proofreader is to have. There's also using a grammar checker program to fix some of those grammar errors.
Perhaps my review is biased but hey, everyone is entitled to be biased when it comes to something they love, right?
And as such, keep up the great work, I'll be waiting eagerly for how the story unfolds more.

A [Reincarnation-Transport] story that melts your guts out due to cuteness overload. It tackles a story of a shy boy(who had high girl power from start) dying in a gunfight with terrorists. Then, summon-reincarnated in a classic hero summoning with a little tweaks…
Anyway,  Even though it’s a [GenBen]. There’s almost no Gender displacement friction like almost GenBen have. Yes, s/he did mention the loss of his… err… her male part(due being reincarnated with a new body). There’s no lingering feeling to it because she forgo it a second later.
Also, did I mention she’s too cute?
Warning: don’t let your guard down due to cuteness. Else, it might sprout the lolicon-ness within you.
    6/14/16. Review till the latest chapter(ch. 17)
Style: The fiction is on 1st person POV. The contrast of actions of actions vs inner thoughts is amusing really. Since the story is focused on lighthearted read + fluffiness, the story being heavy reliant on 1st person POVs hits the spot on drawing the story’s element.
Story: The pace is just progressing slowly on it’s own without the MC’s direct intervention. Although summarized, the world building had more details than expected actually.
Also, the story had unexpected downhills and abrupt turns on events(bad events)[ch14-16]. However, like the story’s main selling point, never have bad expectations unless the die had been cast spot-on. A tip for ya fellas, Look at [Tags] first before deciding abandoning ship even though the bad expectations you having(most likely will fail) hasn’t set yet.
Eventhough, the Final boss had appeared early(and only on whim at that). The complete surprise on the identity of the [Final Boss] is truly unexpected beyond reason. So, it’s a plus for me.
Grammar: So-so perhaps? Not good, not bad either and has room for improvements also.
Character: Although casting off temporarily the characters before they truly developed and before a reader is quite attach is a good thing, but not having permanent companions isn’t.

The chapter is quite short but i see its packed with very imaginative and FUN~ny~ creativity
I've read lot of story with short chapter
By short chapter i mean not too much text btw
This is the 1st short chapter that  made me laugh
and  yeah~ the fluffiness and cuteness heal me
    Keep up the good work~

The story is fun and lighthearted with threats of seriousness on the horizon but never getting close, like a rainbow. The style is easygoing and fluffy like a rabit. The characters so far are flat like a deflated balloon. The grammar is terrible but is starting to improve as time goes on.
    Suggestions:
Get someone to edit for you and maybe fix the grammar in the earlier chapter so you don't scare readers off like someone who forgot to brush their teeth before a date.
Build up your characters more so they aren't just there for the sake of it, but don't build them up too quickly or they may collapse like a wall without mortar.

This was a fun to read Story about a cute girl I guess? The author does the cute girl thing quite well and this is also the only reason I actually read it til now (Chapter 32).
Style: Terrible seriously look up how and when to use indents!! Im hoping this is a problem with the RRL editor though ...
Make your writing more detailed thing are happening way to fast. Also chapter length is really short you are getting better at that though so props for that ;)
Story: Only reason I read it still leaves alot to be desired. Feels very japanese WN like. Sitting around without ambition yet still stumbling into one Event after the other.
    Grammar: Meh!
Character: The main character is kinda hard to follow sometimes but still the most komplex character there is. Everone else has what I would describe as One-Liner-description.
How you expect anyone to remember 14 different Summoned Heroes is still a mystery to me especially as they were all Introduced within the same paragraph

It's very funny at first. Slice of life magic and making very good use of the idea of a cute little girl. Even i felt the warmth of the adorableness. But after a couple of chapters I have to say that the story is very disorganize. Its like its trying to force in many things. First the Novel is like a Comedy suddenly its a Action-Blood thing. The Novel keeps Changing! I think the Writer needs to make up her mind on the direction you want to lean this too. The GenderBender tag also does not make sense or give a good purpose to the Story. Even though she's a girl he should still have a guy mentality right? And even though she meets her other body what was the point?
I don't understand why this would be considered at the top 5# in RRL. There's grammar mistakes and not very well constructed. I do like this Novel a little bit though. It gives a good Japanese feeling. But the Story is everywhere man!

The story could have been good, but sadly all the mistakes and the constant change of view make it boring. Half the story doesn't even follow our MC and is totally useless to the readers.
The first part was interesting, but pretty fast it gets boring and the reader doesn'T even want to know anymore what happens in the chapters

MC is not a cute loli mc. Repeatedly we are reminded this its actually a full grown dude which he even admits later on. For some reason this does not bother anyone and they still treat him as normal. However if you look at all these cute behaviors and put them in the context thats its a grown man its super gross and weird.

So the premise is promising, but the delivery is so very bad.
But worst of all is the grammar, I know that RR is filled with people that do not speak English as their main language, but that is not a good reason to forego grammar entirely. Fix the grammar and the story will slightly better.
