Description
Dominic was a good college student. He got all his assignments turned in. Studied for all his tests and got A's and B's. He was even on the honor roll his second semester. Sure he partied hard on weekends, waking up with hangovers bad enough to kill a cow. Unfortunately after receiving a spiked drink, he won't be having another hangover, only a very bad trip to another world.
Now he must play with the hand he has been dealt. Thrown into a world with a video game like system and stuck in a new body that's not even human. Now he must make friends, avoid enemies, and find his own way out of this completely foreign world; or find one of the many gruesome ends that awaits him in this world that is outright trying to kill him.

- GLMRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Story is good so far, grammar is still a bit rough but it is getting better, its nothing too serious, mostly all the "to"s where it should be "too"s that stuck out to me, but its very readable.
The world is adequately built and described, the system seems well thought out and not overly crunchy or overbearing, and the MC doesn't seem Overpowered right out of the gate.
The MC seems like an agreeable sort, not some neckbeard degenerate nor a grass eating japanese white(simp)-knight, he is levelheaded and hasn't been handed plot-induced dunce cap (yet? Hopefully not ever), meaning he didn't make a glaringly idiotic and irrational decision just cause.
As for the the gender-bender tag... It matters less than you'd think, so far it mostly ammounts to "oh shit I died and now I'm a monster-plant-lady" the lady being the part he is least worried about for now, given how he's been constantly under attack since he woke up.
Overall its a good story with potential to be great, lets see how it turns out. - Sable99Royal Road★ 1.0This is going to be one of those rare reviews where I have to drastically reduce my rating. I initially gave this story 5 stars. The writing was average, but the premise was great. We follow the adventures of Petal, a reincarnated dryad. She used to be a man from the modern world. Initially, Petal started to interact with people from this new world, and the story was pretty interesting. Unfortunately, we soon find out that these people are simply *fanatical* about killing dryads, and Petal seems to be incapable of hiding herself or at least does not have the motivation to try hard enough. So far, her only motivation is to survive, and that means that for the last MANY chapter she has been hiding out in her pod and slowly experimenting with her powers. She has no reason to ever talk to a human again, and so the story is now incredibly BORING. This is the "bathroom mentalist" trope all over again, and it's just as bad as you can imagine. The monsters can't fight back, and I can't see any reason for her to ever interact with a sentient individual ever again. What is even the point of this story now? I don't know.
