Bloom, before you Wither Away - Poetic Version

Author's Note - This is the 'poetic' version of what is to be a "short" story - so far, it is open to interpretation as to how it correlates with the storyboard that I am planning out. The work of fiction that I aspire to write will also be something that emulates the style of old classics, so readers looking for the usual xianxia/JP LN type book, please be forewarned before you wind up disappointed.

Ruminations, regrets, and recriminations.

What was, what is, what could have been.

Vestiges, traces of the now meaningless past

are the only fragments that piece together

this shallow husk, this empty vessel that drifts ceaselessly

what binds the past, present, and future together - ?

I can't say for sure that I truly know.

But I hope that, in the end... there will be somethingbeautiful.
