Bloodlines and Powers

In a world marked by bloodlust and the extermination of whole tribes and bloodlines just to gain power, there is a new hero who comes to rise unexpectedly from the magicless. Young Gwen has to learn how to survive in a political landscape where having power makes one have a better shot at life, but puts a mark on their entire family and bloodline. Young and vulnerable, our hero seeks safety the only way she knows how, by running for dear life. Yet fate has its own wishes, as what seemed to be a death sentence sending a child into a life on the run leads to an epic adventure that runs into the reality of the nature of this seemingly violent nature of the world and society that she resides in.
