Description

A ritual gone wrong gave him the world's deadliest Class—now all he wants is blood.

Zeth stole the most powerful ritual magic in the world from a mad cultist. A Class that's fueled by the blood of his enemies and human sacrifice. One that's illegal to use, punishable by gruesome death. And now that he has it, he's faced with a choice: hide away for the rest of his life from those who would hunt him down, or embrace the power, becoming the hunter to get revenge on the murderer that stole his friends' lives.

For Zeth, that's no choice at all.

His enemies have to die. And he plans to use every drop of blood, eldritch ritual, and demonic summoning he can to kill them.

I really like this story. I am sucker for system novels, and I have read many different system types. This one is quite unique, if it was taken or inspired on something else, I haven't noticed it. It's not only unique, but it's quite fun to see the mc developing his class, as it doesn't progress on fighting necessarily. There's quite a lot of fights, but they are a bit different from other novels. Only thing I believe needs to improve are the characters, especifically the mother. I believe we need a POV of hers, to see not only what she things of her son, but also to understand why she does what she does. Other than that, almost zero issues with the grammar, very interesting plot developments, good magic system, most characters are actually quite fun to see, some are very much dicks such as erza, but he's such a dick it gets fun.
I need to stall because 200 words is a lot, so let me tell you that today I have a secret santa party, and I am very excited to go to it. I hope my friend likes his gift, I put a lot of thought into it, and I hope I get a good gift.

In brief, I think this story is worth reading. The first few chapters are a little rough, but it comes together nicely with time. Details in spoilers.
What sets this story apart isn't so much the world building, which is decent but not exceptional. Its characters are pretty good - sometimes annoying, but in the way some real people are annoying, and with one or two minor standouts - although the MC himself feels a little flat, especially at the begging. It's not even the magic system, although that is more interesting.
What really sets this story apart is the System itself. The mechanics of skill point acquisition, profit skills, and the careful shepherding of points by which new skills are only really unlocked when old ones grow more powerful is, in a word, excellent. The way it's handled in universe and by the MC isn't ideal, although again in a fairly realistic way, but the level of depth and complexity this allows for would forgive any number of sins, and this story has far fewer than that.
Add in the fact that this is a system-intelligent world - that there are in-universe guides to classes and skills and the like - and this becomes even more interesting. While the class system has mostly only been touched on, and the MC misses what I think is the more interesting aspect of it (developing a specific number of specific skills to unlock a given tier of class), it also has enormous potential to be interesting, especially in the way it interacts with the skill system.
All told, this is an overall decent story, made exceptional by some of the best-designed RPG elements I've seen in LitRPG.

Really interesting start to the story, with clear goals and avenues for the story to progress, as expected from the author. Has a driven main character with a cool magic system that has constraints that keep the progression interesting, even if it does seem a little situational what works with it.
Will be continuing to keep up with this novel.

This is extremely well written. So far it has kept me very invested with a good use of mystery, characters that are realistic, battles that are intense, and an MC that has clear goals and things he cares about and is logical and cunning without getting into the weeds of convoluted schemes. The author also limits the MC's resources and power in interesting ways which has kept the story very tense and away from the power creep of other fantasy novels with OP protagonists while still making if feel like the MC is gaining strength and having cool moments.
TLDR: A really cool and well written story that avoids the pitfalls other fantasy stories fall into.

As far as I've read the story is amazing, I liked the character and his sister is a genius. I hope it continues as good as it is now.

Fast paced, fun, and the system is surprisingly unique - the profit skills are a really cool concept, and everyone technically has unlimited opportunity provided they follow an appropriate skill path and have the proper training (obviously wealth, etc, is relevant here as well as far as depriving ordinary individuals of the opportunity to train sufficiently to unlock an optimal class).
Zeth behaves quite rationally throughout the story, and manages to empower himself at a rapid pace. The need for relatively covert operations is nice here, and character relationships feel at least somewhat relevant long-term (rather than relationships that become increasingly irrelevant with MC power growth).

I'm really loving this one. Great MC, great little sister, interesting take on progression fantasy, and blood magic!  Very excited to see where this is going.
The family drama feels compelling and adds to the more adventurous drama, and the secondary characters all feel very fleshed out.  The world building is interesting and explained well without excessive info dump

There are a number of common tropes that I’m seeing which typically makes me wary.
Stop me if you’ve heard it: self-righteous MC with an axe to grind, poor classesless MC who suddenly gets insane OP class, that class outstrips every other class, overly precocious genius little sister (who’ll probably be some magic deus ex machina if we get that far), said sister also runs towards danger, has a dead dad so only man left in the family.
There’s world building that’s intriguing but questionable, there are 19 total realms but only the first six are listed. Filling out 10+ unknown realms is something.
With all things it’s about execution and the author is doing it well. I’m skeptical but it’s been decent so far.

Nah gonna drop it. Too much annoying characters. Didn't like the way the mc thinks, the early parts is ok but conveniently becomes stupid later. I MEAN sure he killed the monster but he could have killed it before like he should have made traps woth out blood yet but just run around like it is safe the first monster has already the sign that it is not the only one but mc assumes the area is clear like eye headed monster getting gutted out don't mean anything to you? Like more monsters?
And the family is annoying, people living in a world with monsters is not afraid of their safety at all. Even people kills another for levels so what do you mean stay ordinary?
"Stay ordinary cause some hero will save/protect us" Famous dumb ways to die in grimdark fantasy worlds.
Even other peasant views are like don't piss off noble or the nobles will protect us will be much better perspective for the story. Not stay ordinary forever. I assure you no one likes to stay ordinary in a fantasy grimdark world.

TLDR: It's not great. Can I recommend it, no, no I can't.
I can't tell who is stupider the main character or literally everybody else in this story. What starts as a decent idea is quickly undermined by a single fact. The Main character is an idiot. The story follows the basic system trope of "Character gets illegal class, has to live their life hiding it from the people around them" which is fine, but he is cartoonishly dumb when going about hiding it.
He shows up to a library on the verge of death dripping the last of his blood and you know what they say? He will get blood on the books. He thinks people are watching him to see if he is a blood Mage, and his response is to do another, bigger, blood ritual.
It's a comedy of errors. He somehow manages to pull off the worst Deceptions and investigations imaginable, he does the equivalent of solved calculus by rolling a foam dice and throwing alphabet soup at a wall, then recording the results. He basically snuck past a police cordon using a fake mustache and glasses. It's honestly impressive how NOTHING should work out, everyone consistently makes the wrong choices, yet somehow everyone being wrong leads to the right outcomes.
Read it, it's so bad it's good.
