Description

Princess Loretta of Agarta, a headstrong minx lycan—unable to shift due to her gender—finds herself bound by a reluctant treaty to Prince Neltavio of Ustoria, a vampire, in a desperate attempt to quell a centuries-old war between their people. Neltavio, a prince cloaked in an unnerving blend of power and allure, views her as little more than a defiant pawn in a political game. Their forced proximity within the shadowed halls of Ustoria ignites a volatile dance of animosity, their every interaction a clash of wills. Loretta’s fiery spirit challenges Nel’s controlled demeanor, cracking his icy facade and revealing a dangerous undercurrent of attraction. As their kingdoms inch toward an uneasy peace, the resurgence of the Valmorin, an ancient evil, threatens to shatter everything. Now, bound by a shared enemy, Loretta and Neltavio must navigate a treacherous path of forbidden desires and forced alliances, where trust is a fragile commodity, and survival hinges on their ability to conquer not only their enemies, but the treacherous terrain of their own hearts.

I love a good vampire/otherworldly love story. Great world building and character structure. I can see why the two lead characters clash. Excited about their lovestory. The Valmorin are a great layer to the problems they face at hand, while being the ultimate reason the two races should end their quarrel. Overall, Lor is annoyingly stubborn. I hope he truly does break through her stubbornness. Cuz boy, she even gets under my skin.
A five star for great writing. I can tell you planned this well. I like the direction I believe it’s going in. I love a good “big boom moment” when the characters finally align. Excited to see what’s to come.
