    With there currently being only one chapter, there's not a lot to go on so I'm putting this up as a tentative rating. However, from what I've seen so far this story has a lot of potential.
    The writing is pretty decent, though there is some room for improvement that can simply come with time and experience on the author's part. While there are some mistakes here and there, they're not so glaring that they take away from the story.
    The premise of the story is intriguing, and one that I'm really looking forward to being explored. I didn't really like in the original series how they just killed Michael off and made Serena super-estranged from her daughter. Not only does this take place before those events happened (which means there's the possiblity of changing those outcomes), but it also throws in the twist of a Blade crossover!
    The thought of a Serena and Blade, two of the most bad-ass vampirean ass-whoopers out there teaming up and working together is an obviously exciting and, dare I say, titillating experience.
    With fairly decent writing and a thrilling premise, I feel like this story has a lot of potential, we'll just have to see how it goes........
