Black Noblesse is an action-packed steampunk adventure set in the Ether Empire, where the aristocrats known as Skylanders live in luxury on a floating island, while the common folk, Lowlanders, endure misery on the ground below. The story follows Nailah, a Lowlander adopted into Skyland, who dreams of becoming the Elysian, the most influential Skylander responsible for the empire's prosperity.

But just as she takes a critical step toward that dream, she's framed for a crime she didn't commit and forced to flee to the Lowlands, where even dreams are a privilege.

Wounded but unwavering, Nailah refuses to yield. If society sees her as a criminal, she’ll carve her path through shadows. Her goal remains: become the Elysian, bring prosperity... and let vengeance bloom.

A Great story so far. Grammar is good.
I'd suggest adding in pacing chapters. The beginning chapters feel more like a montage. Like, she should've spent more time with her roommates(chapter wise) before having to go to the work house. Have them scrounge up her rent for her for the first week or so, and have her than do odd jobs with them for like a month or so. That way the separation(her going to the workhouse), the abduction of the two girls, and reunion have more weight.

"Black Noblesse" is a steampunk fantasy story that offers an original plot and raises relevant questions about the workings of contemporary society. The characters, complex and intriguing, evolve in visually appealing settings. For players familiar with this game, the universe strongly evokes Final Fantasy XII in its structure. I particularly appreciate Black Nobless because this type of story provokes deep reflection in the reader. As we say in french "bravo" to the creator ! 😁

Grammar:
Very clean writing with only minor issues. Sentence structure is varied and natural. No noticeable typos or tense problems in the early chapters. Occasionally the prose dips into telling instead of showing, but not enough to be distracting. Overall, it reads smoothly and feels well-edited.
Character:
Nailah is a standout. She’s not your typical fantasy lead, being ambitious, vengeful, but also deeply principled in her own way. Watching her go from adopted aristocrat to a hunted exile builds sympathy fast, and her choice to fight back from the shadows makes her arc feel dangerous and earned. The supporting cast is shaping up well, especially the morally gray nobles and gritty Lowland survivors. Complex motivations abound.
Overall:
The story kicks off with a sharp premise and real emotional weight. It’s steampunk with less gears-for-the-sake-of-it and more about power, class, and identity in a rigid empire. Nailah’s descent and rise are dramatic, but grounded in a believable world full of hierarchy, ambition, and injustice.
