Six months ago, a colorless miasma swept across the entire northern section of the continent of Yhordran, creating a vast army of undead that lurks within its boundaries. In an attempt to encourage citizens to help restore order, the crown creates a public organization called the "Mistwalkers", made of individuals who register to venture into the mysterious fog to discover and stop its source.
A foreign knight in self-exile from his home is one of those Mistwalkers, and on a desperate journey for meaning, he steps into the grey abyss with the company of Yhordran natives to make his way 400 miles north to reach the plague's epicenter.

- Omnis RaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story was very captivating. I was drawn into it from ch 1. It was a darker story from what I usually read. The characters were really well thaught out. And the story well told. Amazingly well done.
- Weaver of FablesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The author's writing is captivating. The grammar is impeccable and the style is very "show, don't tell". The author takes the story by the hand, and although it dances with it in a waltz of juicy descriptions they still hurtle along their path without meandering or dragging their feet.
So far, the main character is very interesting. I don't know very much about him, but his mannerisms do more than enough to ignite my imagination. - forgedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very professional story - at least on par with a legitimate published novel.
- gamepal745Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0criminally underrated, an amazing read in every aspect.
- kasun12345Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0A great read amazing story with a great set of characters. The MC is not op but skilled. The pace of the story is awesome.
- RationalMindRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5It's not a action packed novel, it's primarily a character driven story. These characters feel real. Their interactions also hold deep meaning.
If you looking for a fast paced novel this is not for you.
PS - continue the good work, also with some editing it can become a real book. - Scott FentonRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Great story, written in the form of a novel. I can tell the story was well thought out.
- orGAZmicRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Spoiler: Spoiler Great overall, romantic part of the story felt a bit wooden IMO. Also keen on more stories set in this world
Love story Beetween Atticus and Zyra, felt a bit "Twilighty" to me. Just stares and awkward looks until they developed feelings. IMO - WayAheadOfYouRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This story held me captive from start to finish, and I don't feel like I've wasted even a second reading it. While the general storyline itself is a pretty standard 'go forth and defeat evil' type of thing, it's the characters and their interactions who bring it to life. Each of the six is completely different and unique and yet their interactions never feel forced.
Another plus to this story is a conclusive ending. I hate it when a story ends with a cliffhanger or open end, and while there are certainly still loose ends upon which a second story could be built, this particular tale has been properly finished. - malinizgeldiRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0But frankly, I didn't read the whole story. First of all, thank you to the author for writing this story. The main reason it didn't pull me hard enough is because it's heavy. I can also say that reading made me tired. However, if you see my comment, I definitely suggest you give it a chance. he deserves it.
