Someone has to keep an eye on wizards and their damn experiments. Bernin has trained for this her entire life. Brought in by the same agency she now serves it is up to her to make sure the rules are followed.

Her job is varied and changing. Working for theAgency of Responsible Spending and Experimentation means she travels the continent looking for wizards who mistreat apprentices, don't follow the strict guidelines and worst of all, don't keep their finances in order.

Don't worry about what happens to those rule-flaunting wizards, after all experimentation can be very dangerous and accidents do happen.
