Description
A unique coat has been passed down for generations among the kings of Iskoria, one that can speak, though it is forbidden knowledge among all but the very rulers of the land. On one fateful day, a girl by the name Berenia is offered an awfully regal coat by an awfully foolish prince... Soon after her "romantic" encounter, she discovers that she has the button of the coat! It wont leave her be and not only that, now it's talking to her and trying to convince her to overthrow the kingdom!

Wow. Just wow.
Your writing immediately pulled me in â I could see the city streets, feel the chill of the night, and hear that weird little buttonâs voice in my head (it sounded smug and British, by the way). đ
The characters feel so alive! Bereniaâs fiery personality comes across perfectly, and âFlowerâ is such a delightfully clueless dandy that I want to give him a hug⊠and maybe a slap. The button? Brilliant. Genuinely had me laughing at the absurdity of a sassy sentient button chasing someone down alleys.
I love how the world feels lived-in and full of mystery â the cobblestone streets and markets have stories to tell. Your descriptions are so vivid without ever bogging down the pacing. And that balance of humor and intrigue? Chefâs kiss. đ
This feels like the beginning of something huge â Iâm already hooked on the dynamic between Berenia and the button.
