So far the characters are interesting, personally I wouldn't hve put an autistic girl on the mission, but /shrug alternate world, or something.
The atmosphere is also well done, I like how tense it is and I feel for the Marines. I have a feeling that dealing with those scientist types will be worse than herding angry, horny cat's.
