Description
Deep in the void, a weak transmission can be found, a voice can be heard through the static, a scientist, the lone survivor of a pirate attack. He screams into the void, asking someone, anyone to help him. Domitia, a super soldier known as a Bellator, and her companion and ace pilot, Dell, pick up on it and race off toward it. Little do they know that something still stirs aboard it, something far more deadly than space pirates.

- Elijah TalbotRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I really enjoy this sci-fi story. The story follows Domitia and her friend rescuing after a brutal pirate attack (yes, the blurb states it, I am aware).
What I find enjoyable about this story is how well-written it is. I find the prose exceptional and the action, while brief, carries a lot of weight behind it. If there is a negative, it will be that sometimes the worldbuilding is really sparse and minimal.
However, this is a really neat story if you like super soldiers, space, and the knowledge that there is something horrifying hiding in the void of space. - Capitanes BardoRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I didn't have time to read too far into the beginning but from the onset it set up a little mystery and certainly evoked some questions and curiosity. Will want to continue reading ALD to see about answers to those questions. 👍 I also like that it seemed like you could even set the ship up as a side character, it used to have a purpose and a destination now its figurative hopes and dreams (purpose is unfulfilled and not likely)
