Description

A group of people dies in a plane crash, but their souls are snatched away by an entity called the Highest One, that wants to make them the gods of a new world in order to guide and control its population. One of the passengers, Viktor, protests this, saying that the people of the new world should be entitled to find their own path in life without immortal beings ruling over them. The Highest One then ask Viktor if he really has that much faith in humanity, and after Viktor answer positively he made him into the God of Hell, tasked with redeeming the souls of the damned, as a way to test Viktor's faith in humanity...EDIT: I'm reworking this novel a bit, changing the first chapters from the "screenplay" form to standard prose. I should be done and start a shedule of one chapter per week at the end of february.

So far my only whiny complaint is about the text size being too big.
I am loving the story and I hope to see more of it.
(Sum of what I have read is that a very moral person who who likes discussing ethics becomes the devil of hell since he said he beleives in humanity and the big G doesn't think that attitude will last as the Devil, and this is him being the devil, so far, really good)

This story is excellent so far, and I await the next chapter. Gods that are former mortals, with their flaws, and their unique abilities. I just hope you will focus more on the MC rather than some nobody, although I know it is important to show the world, but at least just focus on the other gods, not every mortal...

Without any spoilers you get a good story that so far focus on how gods (the mortal, flawed, kind) deal with a new world. The main focus is on hell but we so far get to see a good slice of everything else.

This will be a quick review as not many people are going to bother reading the reviews of a series that hasn't been updated for 15 months and that's ok. What I wanted to say was that this series shows so much potential. Vale shows quite the interesting twist on the normal isekai story and the series shows promise.
however what I disliked. In the series there were a few points I disliked. The first and most disliked part for me is that it hasn't been continued. Real sticking point there. The next point is that this story is taken through multiple points of view. I can understand the use of multiple points of view as when used right it can add small tidbits of information on certain aspects of the world. My problem however is that despite there being a main character there is no other anchor for the story. The god of *spoilers* (the female one you guess it) would serve as another good anchor with which to see how the world is changing and how the book is traveling (as someone is in hell and can't visit the world). What i mean to say is that you need one or two main view points to see a holistic view of everything happening and then you can add one or more side characters. For example the storm light archives. where in between the main acts of the story side characters are introduced (and killed) at times to show how the world works. If Vale had one or two main anchors to ground the series and more chapters then I feel the series would shine better.

well ... thanks for the great series and I hope that once some more work on Marcus' series is done this series will get continued.

Not from the plot or anything. I'm just talking about the arrogant apsect that nearly all the characters exude(except for the main girl for some reason, because she's just a little dainty flower). MC is also the only person with a cell in his brain for some reason, close to all others turned into strawmen of various sizes and density. Not the best but also not the worst. I could at least remember the names here, so not the worst in the world I suppose.
Some of this might sound harsh but I did enjoy reading this, for what its worth

It is hard to say without a spoiler but it is a story with potential.
For the author thanks for the story, i hope you can add many philosophical thing about what is right or wrong or maybe discover how the world change with the souls.
For the reader it is not the reincarnated as maou trope but a original(for now) satire of the fantasy setting with their god.
Ps: it would be funny that the entire situation is a "hell" for the people of the plane crash.
