Description

At the ripe old age of 12, Dorothy became a brand new Automata, synthetic beings with a living soul and memories of their previous life as an organic being.  Join her on her slice-of-life adventures as she discovers what it's like to grow up as a robot that runs on magic in a world of Adventurers and dungeon explorers, and parents that can't quite get that she doesn't need food or sleep any more.

AutoDot takes place in the same world as Automata Prime, but is set many years after the events of that series.  This book is suitable for both kids and kids at heart that enjoy some crunchy LitRPG elements.

I won't be releasing chapters on a schedule for this one, instead I'll be posting them as I write them with a target length of about 4500 words per chapter.

When ya need a good shot in the arm of wholesome this story is the way to go, it manages to get across the sadness of losing a body yet somehow still end up cheerful and optimisticm I really am looking forward ta the continuation of this AND the original story.

It's fun. And the fact that it is an Automata LitRPG for Kids makes my heart flutter. I defintely am a ways from finishing it but I will try to catch up and read it all when I can :-) . And I'll try to get my son's opinion on it as well. I just need to finish this university season and get back on vacation.

First off, I love how easy going this story is. It's a great pallet cleanser if you're between harder or complicated stories, (such as Game of Thrones, wow did I need something nicer). I'm a fan of transformers so it was a hit with me (unsurprisingly). I like the direction it's going and the character Dorothy is sweet. It's got great potential! My only (very minor, mind you) gripe is that the sentence flow gets stilted sometimes with repeated or unnecessary phrases. Nothing big enough to kill the story so it's truly minor and for all I know that's just their writing style, but it did knock me out of the story a few times. I've definitely read worse in terms of grammar so it didn't merit any kind of real penalty on the rating lol. If you're a transformers fan, and want slice of life, I'd give it a go!
I got nothing else, but the review needs more words so I'm just going to start paste the synopsis:

When little Dorothy was on the verge of losing her body, she gains a robot body.
This the story of Dorothy's daily optimism as she lives a slow adventure life in another world.
This was an adorable look at a good child as she completes quests and makes friends in a fantasy world.
