Augmented : Overkill

Humanity has been slowly expanding and taming the galaxy for hundreds of years. The United Empire of Humanity has risen, but is now crumbling, unable to administrate properly on the scale it has attained. World-Colonies are claiming independance one by one, igniting the fires of civil war. It is only through the use of remnants of what must have been alien technology that the Empire is still able to keep a sliver of control.
