Description
The world has been remade, and Jim now has the ability to see the magical cogs that run this new world order.
Behind everything magical are conduits and mechanisms that channel unfathomable Aurora’s of energy that now ignite from and circulate the planet.
Jim saw this change occur whilst in the ISS and as the only sentient being not on Earth at the time of the change, it didn’t manipulate his memories. However the story isn’t the same for the rest of the planet.
Seeing the world change in front of his eyes, Jim is tasked by a messenger from unknown gods to find the source of the change, join this new game world, and forge a path to find out why this happened. Will he put things back to how they were, or blaze a new destiny for humanity.

- keeganashleyliveRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is an entertaining read, through and through. If you're looking for some laughs, an easy read and an intensely LitRPG world, this is the story for you. I really liked the approachable way it's written. There's nothing too extra or fancy. It's just clearly an author having a blast and inviting readers in to have a blast with them. I loved that aspect.
The second thing that makes this work shine is the main character and the use of humor. Both of these things work simultaneously together since it's often the main character causing the humor. It is well-executed and had me chuckling often which adds about 200 bonus points in my book.
There were no glaring gramatical errors, and I thoroughly enjoyed the world the author builds. It's creative, and, if you're an LitRPG fan of any sort, you're going to love the frequent stats and flow of this.
The characters were fun. I took a little off because I would have liked them to be a little more developed, but I think the author is really going places with this one and things will build organically.
...Last Thoughts: Sweet use of the stats chart. I thought that was a brilliant addition. ...Also, the cover is on-point. Really draws in the eye. I just wanted to note that for the author here---nice work.
Overall gist: Read it. It's a completely fun read to get lost in. I highly recommend it. - kanundraRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Opening.
Not often I'm first! haha, but yey! I admit I love something space faring, just not quite enough space for me, lol However, I can see it coming in very handy, Nice that Jim gets to witness all of these things changing from space though, that was well done. I was unsure how it might pan out from here, but the author did a great job
Story.
So far, at 10k there’s really not a lot for me to dig in and talk about. We meet Jim, the system, and he’s a fun character. He really doesn’t have a clue when it comes to this kinda thing and he finds that out the hard way. Which is pretty laughable, thanks for that.
Style.
We have one POV swap to a creature that isn’t from Earth, that is pretty high level and it makes for a really interesting perspective. No name, just him and what he’s going to do, join the game. Which to me is a lot of speculation then that somewhere along the lines, Jim is totally going to get his ass kicked by this dude.
Grammar.
There are a fair few bits and bobs, tense changes, and missing punctuation. But it doesn’t really pull me out of it, I am not great at things myself, I pay out for mine in both line and copy edits, but I try and use all the tools available to me for free before I get there. That includes a list of my own over used and bad words.
Characters.
Not a lot to go on, I fell like I want to like Jim, he’s so far obviously a hard worker, you don’t get to space without being that, and an engineer so he’s going to be a thinker, and a dooer, I believe. Which will also be really nice to see.
We also get a little bit of hint to his past, with the doctor and his old friend Luke, I think and hope that Luke will show up here, gives us something to connect to him and his background.
Lens, well that’s interesting, the AI or computer for the space station/ship. I wonder if she’ll pop up again too, even if he just gets his system voice changed.
Closing.
In all this was a nice 10k, introduction to the world, I wanted more, so job well done. Gen - drifter265Royal Road★★★★ 4.0Overall, the story seems a little scattered, in terms of plot and character. A lot of things are happening and in not what seems a coherent way. I wish there was more background information and development given to the characters, but it seems the author is more set on writing silly antics for laughs instead of grounding the story in anything serious. There's space action and LitRPG, but things move so quickly and in an unstylistic way that it's hard to get immersed in the story.
I don't know if the author knows, but their grammar needs work. Too many errors to count. Maybe it was a stylistic choice or maybe not, but it definitely brought me out of the read. It's nothing that a little effort can't fix.
Like I said, the style is very scattered. Many things are happening and very fast. I myself like things to simmer before moving on to another event, to make sure that everything that happens in a story is meaningful and not just a throwaway, so that thoughts about the situation from the main character can develop before moving on. However, the author seems to be set on getting things completed as soon as possible.
There are a few characters. They have a lot of interaction with others and the events. But none are memorable. We get an idea of who they are from their antics, but there are no flaws and no past wounds evident in their character to make any of them interesting. I hope the author can dig into their history more and flesh them into real people.
Overall, I see the effort the author has put into the story, but to make it anything that stands out, they should take more of their time to develop the world and characters.
