Archvel - The Necromancer

Archvel’s eyes snapped open to near-darkness, his breath sharp and uneven. The cold of the stone beneath him seeped into his back, grounding him in the surreal reality. He sat up slowly, squinting at the dimly lit room around him. The silence was suffocating, broken only by the faint sound of his own heartbeat.

"Where… am I?" he muttered, his voice hoarse, unfamiliar even to himself.

Archvel will soon find out, his life undergoing a big change.
